Windows Installer for Microsoft Windows
Windows versions supported: Windows 2000, XP, Vista
Prerequisites: none.
Installation: run the installer; it will guide you through the installation process.

Mac OS X Disk image (dmg) for Mac OS X
Mac OS X versions supported: Mac OS X Tiger/10.4 (Universal).
Prerequisites: none.
Installation: double click the package and drop the Task Coach application in your programs folder.

Debian Debian package (deb) for Debian
Prerequisites: Python 2.5 and wxPython 2.8.6.0-unicode (or newer).
Installation: Unfortunately Debian does not ship with wxPython 2.8 which is required for Task Coach. You will need to add the wxWidgets repositories to your apt sources list following these instructions. You can then continue by following the Ubuntu instructions.

Ubuntu Debian package (deb) for Ubuntu
Prerequisites: Python 2.5 and wxPython 2.8.6.0-unicode (or newer).
Installation: double click the package to start the installer.

Gentoo Ebuild for Gentoo
Installation: Task Coach is included in Gentoo Portage. Install with emerge:
$ emerge taskcoach

Fedora RPM package for Fedora 8
Prerequisites: Python 2.5 and wxPython 2.8.6.0-unicode (or newer).
Installation: $ sudo yum install --nogpgcheck taskcoach-0.72.6-1.fc8.noarch.rpm

Linux RPM package for RPM-based Linux distributions
Prerequisites: Python 2.5 and wxPython 2.8.6.0-unicode (or newer).
Installation: use your package manager to install the package

Installation: decompress the archive and run python setup.py install. If you have a previous version of Task Coach installed, you may need to force old files to be overwritten: python setup.py install --force.
